Slime

Help,

I have a build up of green slime on my plants and gravel - there is also some on the glass


what can I do to eradicate this problem

Does it come off in sheets, and have a strong, unpleasant odor? If so, it's cyano. Best bet is to run fresh carbon for 2-3 months, replacing the carbon every week. Other options--more frequent water changes with manual removal of the slime, and increased water flow--it usually is worse in low flow areas.
