Slow-growing guppies now growing faster

hi, I posted before about my guppies being so slow to grow...

Now they're growing faster! I don't know why, but I guess its fine....I didn't change anything, the 2 juvies are still in a 10 gallon tank, and water parameters are still the same temp 78F ph 7, no ammonia, no nitrites, and 02 nitrates..

fishies are happy, I didn't realize one was a male until a few weeks ago when his gonopodium started to become visible...

It took them 8 months to reach sexual maturity!

has this happened to anyone else before?

That's unusual... what size are they now?

they were like about an inch a month ago....now one's an inch and a half, and the other is almost 2 inches...

1.5-2 inches is adult size, but I find it strange that they didn't mature sexually until then. Maybe it was just the male? Do you remember seeing a gravid spot on the other one after about a month?

yeah, i saw a gravid spot....its pregnant now...its too late for me to separate them....lol...oh well
