so a few weeks ago i bought a blusher angel and a few other small angel fish, when feeding for the first time i noticed that the blusher didn't eat much food only one or two flakes. i finaly got more freeze dried blood worms and she's oly eating those but now that shes eating the other angels (who are now bigger than her) keep trying to chase her off, i have no other tanks other than my twenty which is fully stocked and has a full grown silver in it, so my question what should i do?

no there only a little bigger than a quarter and the blusher (cuz of not eating and having a slower growth rate) is only about as big as a nickel

some suggestions are:

give it time
extra feedings
spot feeding
feed with lights off
don't know about this one but, i know with territory squabbles reanging the tank might help.
or do some trading

what size tank is this?

what tank mates?

well i had 5 of them in a 30 gallon but the glass cracked and when i drained it (after taking the fish out) it shattered and the only tank i had was a guppy breeder 10 gallon which i no is to small but i have a 55 on the way. but they've been this way evan before being in the ten gallon. and the only thing in with them now is a small cleaner fish (less than an inch big) and some plants.

there in lies part of the problem.

Angels can be aggressive lil buggers. they need room. 5 in a 30 is a bit cramped even for small angels.
they will establish a pecking order and you will need to create a safe place for the picked on fish. in some cases remove the fish.

so do you think a breeder net that you hang on the side of the tank would be good enough for now until i can cycle a new tank, i'm suppost to get a 55 next week, my friend had a misshap and all his fish died except for a small pictus catfish which he's gonna give me. the tanks been scrubbed with tank cleaner.

Try rearranging the tank and provide several objects that block the view - angels seem to get along better when there are vertical objects positioned so that they can "stand" unnoticed by each other. I don't have a camera or I would post pictures of my 35 tank in which I am holding 7 dollar-sized angels until I get the 70 gal. up and running. In it I have positioned four flat rocks vertically about four inches apart along with some narrow-leafed silk plants.

Although they bicker when there's no food, the smaller ones retreat to the rocks when the two couples I'm keeping occupy each end of the tank. Incidentally, the three smaller culls are only the size of a quarter, but they manage to eat.

Angels are aggressive among themselves, so watch them closely to make sure the little guy is eating and not getting nipped. If he is, you'll have to separate them.

thanks for the advice, i just rearranged my tank last night (all i have in there are plant) and my amazon sword had a growth so i planted that small one but none of them are big enough to realy cover the smaller angel, plus it's a blusher so it's all white which makes it evan harder for him to hide
