Small cold water fish

I have decided, since it was unanimous that I couldn't have a moor in my 20 long, to make it into a river bed tank. It is of course a 20 long and is unheated, temp right now is setting at a steady 64. What are some smaller cold water fish I could keep in this tank? Aside from white clouds which I am trying to obtain but want some other ideas in case that doesn't happen.

Hillstream loaches would be fine in that tank with sufficent water flow.

I plan to add a few but need to let some algae grow first Any more suggestions from anyone?

i have a few endler in my shubunkin tank, and last year they were outside in a tub with goldies in sprind till late fall and did fine , also mollies can handle cold water also but they are a bit bigger,.. and rosey reds,..

The rosy reds are an idea if the white clouds fall through, I am afraid to put them together though since the rosies can be nippy.

What about mosquitofish (some of the spotted Gambusia can be quite striking) or bitterlings (Rhodeus sp.)? Might have to check out what kind of fish they have in the pond supply store, if you have one. Ohh, and trapdoor snails - they can be lovely! But do grow quite big...

I have Least Killies in my pond. They are the smallest live bearing fish (Heterandria formosa) I love mine. I have to be really quiet and still to see them on the pond but in a tank they would be awsome. And they are native american fish.

Thought about those too and would love them, only problem is I really don't like taking things out of nature. Yes I know all our fish started out in nature but I would just rather buy tank raised. Now if I can fined them tank raised that is what it will be.
