Small Pleco to eat brown algae

I had a really bad brown algae problem in my 65G arcylic tank. A LFS suggested an "Orange Pleco". Two days later he cleaned up 4 driftwoods and the tank. Two days after that all the plants were clean.

The LFS called it an "Orange Pleco" I have looked online and have not found anything about it. Seems all the pics I can find of "Orange" or "Mango" pleco's look very different than the one I have so I am not really sure what type of Pleco it is, But the entire body is an orange color and it's eyes are a meduim brown.

Dave...can you post a pict?

A pitbull pleco would probably do the job.

But keep in mind you can't completely rely upon plecos for cleaning up algae, they never clean it off totally. I know, that has nothing to do with the question you asked but oh well lol

None of those pics are it. The color is even across the body. No stripes or spots. Below are pics. He looks more tan/brown in the pics but in the tank he looks more orange. It could be the lighting that highlights him to a more orange tone similar to a parrot cichlid. It's hard to get a pic of him with the lights on as he hides under the log and I am still a novice at taking pics of fish in the tank.

NOTE: The funny face above him in the second pic is one of the African Knife Fish looking straight on with it's mouth slightly open.

We have those orangish brown plecos at work (Petsmart) and they are called "Chocolate Plecos". They get big like common plecos. I don't know what the proper name for them is, but I can try and remember to check the Latin name on the tag.
