Small pools safe for fish?

well you could...they dont need the BIGGEST tank ever..but I wouldnt try it...they're a bit expensive...and cracks could happen in the plastic tanks...and for that kind of shark you'd need to be pretty anal about the water quality..amoungst other things. I dont think I'd try that one. Maybe that's just me.

If you're gonna get a shark like that, why not display it with a nice big custom tank? :D

Yeah I have used those a few times as container ponds, but I don't think they come in as big of a size as I want to try this time. I want something about 400 - 500 gallons.
Do a search on Rubbermaid horse troughs, they make'em as large as 300gals and I've seen'em used as fishponds before. ;)

ived used the inflatables they are durable ive tested them on that. but i would be careful onwhat kindof fish gets put in there because of teeth and fins.. im sure your not going to heavily decorate it so shouldn't have any problems there. i just hope your basement is concrete or something not so absorbent incase anything happens.

with how big it is, wouldn't it be hard to clean, to get stuff in the mid, you would have to walk in it or use a pool net, doesn't sound fun

sorry to go off topic but... ChileRelleno wouldn't the water equivelent of skydiveing be sinking not swimming?

wow, that seems like a crazy idea to me, but very cool :bowing: !! I would love to see pics if you end up setting it up!! The only thing I would not like is you couldn't really view them if you weren't standing next to it could you? Also, what if they jump out? I would not think a top would be practical, maybe a solar cover :soda: I wonder what my husband would say to this idea, "No honey, don't be silly the pools not for US, its for the FISH!!! LOL
