What is the smallest you can have of a saltwater tank. I love how beutiful they are but would love to have a small saltwater tank

so what are the fish with the smallest tank requirments

Now that ive been looking, ive seen that people have kept them in five gallons
My prefered is like 10 gallons
So what kind of fish and what supplied would i need(like do they need different kinds of filters or heaters than fw)

oh ya and i would want captive raised ones

Now whats the difference between marine and reef aquarium?

People traditionally divide home marine aquaculture into two categories:

Fish Only (FO): Fish, sometimes with invertabrates

Reef: Corals and all kinds of invertibrates, and fish that are compatible

Good tank bred species for your tank would be small dottybacks like the bicolor (they can be nasty though), false percula clowns, neon goby.

I don't think candy basslets are tank bred but they look awesome.

The goby may be a good choice. There are many samll saltwater fish but they often require a lot more individual space than freshwater fish. So a single fish may be all you can have in a 10 gallon (especially if there are coral and live rock). But you can fill the tank out with inverts like snails and crabs and shrimp which are often just as cool.

Again my favourite......shrimp/gobie pair......
