When will the entries be posted? I just got a 6 gallon tank w/ an eclipse hood for my bday and I need some ideas. :D

I have a 1.5g Pico Reef with all used stuff [except little corals] But the price of everything new would be over 50 hahah. Is that ok? [Im in school till december 4th though, wont be home to get a pic of it :(]

Here's a tank I would have liked to enter, but I didn't because it didn't have a filter or heater in it at the time, it does have a heater now. One of those little jr heaters you pick up at walmart, but it keeps the temps at about 85+. I have to leave the top open so it doesn't overheat....it's a 1 gallon planted tank for a betta with a sprig of water sprite, a small amazon sword and a little clump of java moss with Echo-Complete substrate for planted tanks. I have been keeping an eye on the betta in there, he's a CT red white and blue..very pretty fish. He seems to love the warmth...but I do worry that it could be overdoing it a bit. I check on it several times a day. Hence, I didn't post it in the contest...nice tank though ! :D

Lol...yeah, I know the contest is over...but here's another little tank I put together just the other day. It's a 2 gallon "Explorer" tank. I've had it running for over a year as a "sick" tank...ugly gravel, fake plants and rock thing...I finally got sick of looking at it the way it was so it's had a redu.

I really like this tank, the filter in it works GREAT and it also keeps the water heated at a steady temp of 76-77F....in the summer it creeps up to about 80F....so no need for a heater.

Right now it has a nice teawater look..lol..new piece of driftwood. I'm wondering if I should put the smaller piece in this tank though...I like the look of this piece better as far as it's shape, but does anyone think it looks too big for this tank ??

This wouldn't have qualified for the contest though, because the fish in it would be considered "unsuitable". They really aren't because they're sickly little belly scrapin blue ram culls that I didn't want to "cull". They're about a half inch each and surprisingly get along VERY well with each other. There appears to be one male and 3 females from what I can tell. They were spawned back in March. I tossed them in this tank figuring they would just die, but they haven't !

You can just see one of them hiding behind the nubia to the left. They've each staked out a corner but will occassionally visit one another and just "hang" together. Cute little camudgeons..

Besides the 4 little rams there are some freshwater clams and a snail that snuck in from somewhere. (who says snails are SLOW !!! this one scoots around this tank so fast it's hard to keep up with it !)
For plants there are some small java ferns, water sprite and an anubia nana...the other plants in there are temporary, just stuck them in for now...like the moneywart and that tiny little sprig of what I think is...(I can't remember  )
