Snail Breeding

I have just recently bought some snails. Both Apple snails and some unknown snails that I got for real cheap. I was just wondering if anyone would know usually if snails were to breed, how long does it usually take to see results. If anyone could help. Thank You. Opious.

My "mysterious appering" snails better not breed! I am fine with a few, but not more than that! lol. I love the little snails, its not that I have anything against them..its just.. a few is all I need I dont need my tank over loaded with snails. I know nothing about breeding them. Sorry, I'm not that much help.

all you need to do is make sure you water level is fairly low so the apple snails have room to lay thier eggs above the surface.

My snails are in my 25 gallon high tank, how low would you say my water level would have to be?

5-6 inches of space is fine.

hmmmm..... well, if the water level is low enough, they probably won't be able to reach it.

Just keep the water level an inch from the top. The snails will lay their eggs on the hood.
