Snail Eggs Help

I have a cluster of mystery snail eggs that was on the hood of my 10 gallon tank. When I lifted the lid, the lid slipped and fell down and the cluster of eggs fell off. I now have them in a small cup of water but I'm not sure what I should with them. Should I put them back in the aquarium or will they not hatch now anyway?

well from what i've seen in my own tank it shouldn't matter. your snail willl most likely lay eggs very soon again. i have well over 100 mystery snails that started from just one in a matter of 2 months
