Snail Eggs

Glad I found this thread.. Just found these today:

My wife wants to see them hatch. I'll just let her know how many we'll be dealing with....and tell her it will be her responsibility to get rid of them if there are too many. I'm sure I'll be flushing the eggs tonight...

You *could* try hatching a piece of it, but its probably best to discard it and make sure you have enough space to grow them out before you try it. There will be more clutches.

I tried offerning them as fish food and there was not a lot of interest. If you do hatch baby snails, I found that THEY like to eat the new clutches if you drop them in the water, but I never saw my larger snails eat them.

Two more clutches on the glass today. These things are gettin' busy.... I told the wife she should have stopped at two snails....but noooooo...she had to go for 7. :wall: :grinyes:
