Snail help needed!

hmmm, just thought of something else.... I have a small plec and normally give him half an algae wafer every other night. This must be what the snails are eating (counted 7 just now!). Any ideas anyone? How can I feed my plec and not feed the **** snails!
oh, the snails will eat on every tiny little scrap of food that gets missed by the fish... even without the wafers, they're getting fed
