They can breed pretty fast and take over a tank. They are either a male or female and sexing can be done if both snails are the same age since the female will be bigger.

They lay their eggs above the waterline so they are easily spotted and easy to remove from the tank if you don't want 50-100 babies running around. If you want more info on your brigs go to www.applesnail.net
