snail id-ing

how can ya tell what snail is what......

i have a turbo and went to petco today and they had some astrea's so i bought 2.....

but how do i know i didnt get 2 more turbos???

If possible, take a photo of the shell and post it here, we'll be able to tell you what snails you have....as best we can anyway....

turbos look like regular snails. astrias, however, have a shell shaped more like a rounded pyramid. they look quite different. with a pic, we'll almost definitely be able to tell you if it's one of those two, or something else.

ill try and get a pic tonight....the new guys are alil small so i dont know how well itll turn out....

the turbo in my tank has a round shell and the 2 new guys have "pyramid" shapped shells........
