Snail ID please?

Struggling to get pics! Lol. Thanks for trying! I think I'll just wait for a pink sac of eggs but until then, they are males lololol!

Thanks for this tip! I really really looked and I can't tell. I believe Goldie is a male and Blue 'might' be a female. It's hard to tell and I cannot get good pictures :( But Thank you all the same :)

Apple snails are as enjoyable as the fish!

Be careful! Mine in a rimless tank would climb up & over to drop onto the wood floor. It sounded like a ping pong ball. My cue to go pick it up & put it back. In a rimmed tank that might not be as much of a problem. They need an inch or 2 above the water line to lay eggs.

My tank is rimmed but it still climbed out and went 3 rooms away and stopped infront of the fridge. Hum... guess it was hungry.

LOL, jake. You always have interesting critters...now if it opened the fridge...

Kidding aside, they have a "trapdoor" that can help keep them from drying out from "extra-tank adventures". Always assume they'll recover & put them back. Observe for a few days before giving up.

Yea they can live as long as they stay wet inside; and that one did live but i've had a few crack their shells - those i toss in the clown loach aquarium...

One of them is blue mystery snail and the other one is gold mystery snail. They don't breed in freshwater they will lay the cluster of eggs above the water and you can just remove it if you don't want them to breed.
