Does anyone know what kind of snail this is? They showed up in my b/f's tank and they look really interesting. I was hoping to take a few but not before I knew what they were (and what they would do and/or require).

They're about the size of a dime and they all have that stripe on them. Anyway, thanks!

yup, ramshorns. they are asexual and will reproduce readily with a food source. With good maintenance and no overfeeding they should not reproduce too much.

Awesome, thanks everyone!

I keep wanting to call the long spiral pond snails ramshorns, what are the horn shaped ones called then? Kinda look like a narwhal horn
