last nite i did the weekly water change. After 1 or 2 hours pass i went to look at the fish if they were happy. but then i saw a 1 cm long stuff hanging on the back of the tanks. i look closely i saw a Trumpet Snail!!! i dunno how the heck did it come in to my tank....i haven't add any new fish for 2 months.....

does anyone know how they got it?!?!?!?

also i have a spare 1 g tank and i wanna start a snail population in there...so i move the snail in it...and does anyone wut to feed them with?!?

THANKS

trumpet snails live in the gravel, they are very hard to spot. It could have been there quite a while. You might want to get other types of snails for your breeding program, trumpets are live bearers, and havve less babys then other sorts of snails. Get some ramhorn snails they breed like crazy, snails eat anything, fish food, plants, algae, micro bugs in the tank. Good luck

also, these aren't good to feed to fish. their shells are very hard and they can break a puffer's teeth. KYle
