Snail problem...

I have some canned green beans...?

If you are willing to put in the effort, I strongly recommend making some snail jello as bait. All you need is a 5 ounce jar of baby food (vegetable flavors work best), one packet of knox gelatin and some fish food. The recipe is in a sticky at the top of the Invert page. Since you will be discarding the snails you can omit the calcium. This will be covered in snails which you can discard.

My suggestions would be wait until you got the 20H ready for the plants and do a chemical bath on the plants and put it in a bucket afterward to make sure no one lived through the bath. Chemical treatment could be bleach or salt; bleach is a 20:1 solution not sure on the salt. Once determined that all pests were removed put them and your apple in the 20 H and then bait or buy a loach for the 10 or just terminate all of them by dumping out and letting die. Sounds cruel but they are pest, right.
