Hi Lorin,

Which snails has this product been tested to? Thanks for sharing.:)

I'll sticky this in the meantime to gather more information until such time it can be taken off. We need more updates so if anyone has experiences, please share here.

It was tested on 3 apple snails. I've used it twice now. 4 days apart as instructed. I called them to make sure that I didn't just have some super tough snails lol and they said that it was invertebrate safe.

I didn't see Kordon Rid Ich+ on there, as it contains Formalin and Malachite Green.

I noticed that the list that you have there, contains both the active ingredients, and the trade name of the meds as well, (Praziquantel is on there, but not PraziPro, or Jungle's Parasite Clear which contains an array of 4 actives, including Praziquantel and Metro)

I just wanted to say that this is a great thread, and it's much needed for emergencies. I can only suggest that if we can split it into Trade name followed by active contents, and then perhaps "link" the actives to it's purposes and proper dosage if one wants to use it seperately.

After a brief talk with Donya of Applesnail.net regarding my situation, we've pinned down praziquantel as the culprit for obliterating all my nerite snails.:( I've updated the list. I feel so lost with my stupid mistake. I had an inkling before this somehow I feel something is wrong with my goldfish tank but can't figure out what it was after dosing praziquantel. The goldfish and apple snails were obviously fine from the treatment since apple snails can tolerate prazi very easily but I noticed my nerites started slowing down and then died over the course of 6 days. I tried daily water changes by as much as 60% but no, I am such a total failure.:wall:
