Snail too big for 10g??

Okay, this might sound like a stupid question, but I'm gonna ask anyways. I have a gold inca(apple?) snail that I have had in my 10g for a couple months now. When I bought it, it was about the size of a quarter, now it's gigantic!! I've included a few pics so you can see it. If you look close at the pic you can see where his original shell ends (the tiny little part that is greenish/algea covered) My question is this, is it okay in my 10g? Or should I move it to one of my larger tanks?

You have a Pomacea Cananiculata...The largest of the applesnail species. A Cana is fine in a 10 gal, however they will suck alot of calcium out of the water and crash your pH..They are also voracious eaters and will destroy a planted tank... Frequent water changes are necessary to maintain pH stability and polution control. You can keep him in a 10 if you like..Just watch the water quality...
