snails and BW tanks

Can anyone tell me if there are snails that would be ok in a BW tank? I know the MTS but are there any others?
They do such a good job in my FW tank at helping to keep the bottom of the tank "gunk" free, I have a sand bottom so EVERYTHING shows and it drives me crazy in my BW it gets so messy so quick
