Snails and RBPiranha

I was wondering if anyone has kept snails with and RBP? I know this is a long shot but what the hey, why not ask?...Currently my RBP is 6" and is in a 29 gallon tank (I know he will grow out of it soon, my 55 gallon is ready to be setup and he will be moved to it soon). I was thinking of adding one or two snails to the tank. I am thinking mystery snails...is there a better choice? Also, is this possible? I mean, I don't want to try it KNOWING that it will not work out. I want there to be a possibility of them being compatiable. My research has been showing that compatibility\sucess is possible, but not probable. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
 
well not necessarily, I had a pleco in there with him once and he did fine for a long time, I forgot to feed the P and that was the end of that. But I think I will try this out; all my sources seem to say its worth a shot and I saw some other tanks listed on Pfury that shows snails with Ps....
 
Wellllllllllllll.................I decided to pick up two ramshorns. They looked good and were very active. It looked like they had the best shells to cover in if anything happened but my RB is very curious with them. So far he hasn't touched them but when they went in he started going very nutty.
 
yeah, many P owners have snails as tankmates so I am hopeful this will work out . I'll get a short video up here soon when I and the snails are all settled in...right now one is on the big leaf of my big amazon while the other is on the back glass...RB is trying to gather the courage to go inspect. :D
