snails for dwarf puffers

Would ramshorn or pond snails be a better choice to breed as feeders for my dwarf puffers? Can I breed them together in the same tank?

I believe they will munch on both but the pond snails would be a better option. I'm sure some DP owners will chime in here. Mine only had ponds to toy with.

And yes...ponds and rams can be bred in the same tank.

Mine eat both, as long as the ramshorns are small, they ignore the bigger ones. And yeah, I breed them both together. I'e got a nice sized colony now, and I'm going to move it into the same tank as the DPs, hopefully it'll be a self-sustaining type thing.

Right now I breed them both in a 5 gallon, LOTS of overfeeding.
