hello
i have 2 snails that i bought at my lfs. they are black and brown striped (freshwater of course) and i am wondering if they will multiply. also what do the ''eggs'' look like because i have a small white dots on my rocks and i am wondering if they could be ''eggs'' :(
thanks a lot ttyl

What kind are they? They should be little clear balls with little white balls inside if they're pond snails...

i am not sure what kind they are, they were 3.97 cdn lol if that helps. the dots i have are fairly hard . and they are not clear. they look like the little seed like things that are on hamburger buns.

Rams horns snails lay their eggs under the water line, fully submerged. Their eggs will be layed in a clear film. Initially the eggs will be white but will quickly turn to a black colour as the snails start to grow. Within a week they should hatch. If they are small snails you have I would guess they are rams horns. Apple snails lay their eggs above the water line.
