do mts eat plants?
 
MTS will only eat plants if they are already dying or decaying. They won't usually touch live healthy plants...

They're mainly scavengers and like sifting through detritus... they may eat a little algae and biofilm... but they're not the best snail for that purpose... they're more of a clean up crew for excess fish-food.

Fish food certainly seems their food of choice.
