I read somewhere that snails were good to keep sand from packing too much and causing negative anerobic effects. I am going to be putting sand in my new 150g oscar and jag tank lightley planted with java moss&fern and a couple other plants that I can not yet rember how to spell. My guestion is what kind of snail does not get to big but big enough for an occasional snack and won't hurt my plants?
