are there any snails that could go in a 5g and not eat my plants? because i am having trouble with fish poop getting stuck in the gravel.

hmm - I have ramshorns in my 5 - they don't do too much damage to my plants, but they multiply like rabbits. You might try MTS - they are good at keeping the gravel clean

how about a gravel cleaner?

if you are having trouble keeping the gravel clean, either your tank is overstocked, or you are overfeeding. how often do you vacuum the gravel?

i vacume gravel once a week but i have a thick bed of gravel and use a tube vacume so it is hard to get all the debri
