Snails

Can snails be in with American Cichilds, because mine keep getting ate
is there a certain type of snail out there i can get that can hold its own?

Bigger ones like an apple/mystery snail or a Colombian ramshorn would be more likely to survive. They may still get picked on, though. Snail antennae make tasty fish snacks....
