So I just changed my Co2 solution for the first time...

It's not rotted, Yeast has been added and when yeast and sugar water meet, the yeast eats the sugar and puts out CO2 and alcohol. Most aquarists just want the CO2 for their tanks, but depending on how much sugar you added and how long you let it stand, it can either taste like a mild alcohol or something stronger than vodka. And it isn't random because we know exactly what we put in the bottle.
 
The conditions in which we require regular drinking alcohol to be created(for commercial sale) are vastly superior to the conditions anyone has at home in a 2L cola bottle beside their aquarium. Believe it or not, there IS a reason for all that.

On the other hand, if you want to think there's no difference between regulated, controlled, commercial breweries/distilleries and that plastic bottle beside your aquarium, drink up! :)
 
This thread was meant as a joke. I don't actually plan on drinking it.

...but I think I will at least taste it, just to say that I've done it, and that I've made Aquashine. :)
