AGAIN srry if this is a stupid question

ya i did not put that in because i thought it was a realllllllly stupid question and the first person would tell me to stop worryin so much, but ya i have alot of plants so i use Flourish excel every mornin and just started addin liquid plant food and gravel tabs

...............agian i hope this not a stupid question lol

THANKS

I think it may just be the plants photosynthesizing? Are the bubbles coming off the plants, too?

I also get the tiny bubbles when refilling my tank with the Python. The pressure builds up in it while it's switched off, during the time I go from the sink back to the tank. It's OK, though, because it's temporary, although I was worried about giving my fish the bends :p:

I get little bubbles when refilling with the python also. Also have a myriad of little bubbles coming from where the water splashes back into from the filters (Penquin 350's with Bio-wheels). Figure it's just from the aeretion.

Have gotten bubbles forming on the surface before, didn't worry about it...

the bubble originate from whatever surface desturbances (or if you have a betta, from it's bubble nest) and any additives, including your flourish, will make them stick around longer, dont worry about them, they do no harm

just remember, there are no stupid questions, only stupid answers and inquisative idiots, and i dont think that your the latter.

Could be a bubble nest from a Siamese fighting fish or as stated could be photosynthesis.

Just a thought, are your gravel tabs being put under the gravel? I think the bubbles would be from your plants growing and creating oxygen yes. Especially with the flourish and other stuff. What liquid fert are you using by the way?

Are they bubbles or more foamy? If it's foamy bubbles, still not to worry, they are not a problem in themselves, but what that would mean is you have an excess of organics breaking down - you sometimes see the same thing along lake shores, turbulence disrupting surface tension (waves - or in the case of your aquarium, the filter) breaks down organics into foam. Basically, you might be overfeeding (too much uneaten fish food or too much fish poop) or something else organic is breaking down. Do you have plants? Dead leaves not being removed could do that too.

Try feeding less and gravel vacuuming more.
