so Mr. Doll went Crabbing...

hahaha you guys crack me up.... they were Blue Claws, Star

and yeah, I hate the mess but there are worse things, right?

Hey DD.......is there an ulterior motive to sending Mr. Doll out into the open water with a "cardboard like" boat?;)

umm Pink... you weren't supposed to say that out loud :D

I love blue crabs but they sure are a pain to clean without an air compressor.

BTW Doll, make a paste of baking soda, Dawn and peroxide, wash your hands with it, gets the smell out of anything...even works on skunk-sprayed dogs.

I used to live with the smell--I kinda like it. We'd get hundreds when I was little, but I used to live in a community of fishermen, crabbers, and shrimpers. They'd bring 50-100 lbs of shrimp, craw(cray)fish, or crabs in giant coolers. It was always really fun to pick through it and see what other odd things ended up with them.

hmmm..... good to know for next time, Mark... and I am sure there will be a next time, and so on, and so on, and so on... and wonderful for skunk... just in case. I remember my dog getting sprayed in the face and the smell was around for weeks.... all the tomato juice in the world didn't help. And when I went to work the next day, I sat at my desk and a colleague walks in... I ask her if she smelled anything weird and she's like yeeeeaaaaah.... I'm like... I gotta go... took the next couple days off LOL

Red Bank! I think I know exactly where you mean - on the Navesink River. My dad and brother are members of the Monmouth Boat Club very close to there. Woot!
