So trusting - so deluded!!

I disagree with the "shave it all" crowd.

As a professional groomer, I hate shaving cats. If I can remove the matting without stripping the whole cat, I'd definitely do it.

Don't worry, shaving was definately the last resort. I even tried my hair detangler which worked on some of the matting but unfortunately not the worst areas. I am pleased to say that even after shaving her, as soon as I say hairbrush, she jumps on the table ready to be groomed. She really is a sweetie and has the nicest temperment in a cat that I have ever seen.

I am so going to have to get a photo of her without red eyes just to prove she is not the devil cat!!!

Unfortunately I managed to rip the calf muscle in my leg this morning and am struggling to get around, let alone hold a camera whilst trying to hold onto crutches!!!!

Wow that is a pretty kitty. One of my cats just hates to be brushed what so ever (the one with long fur naturally) The other doesn't mind so much, he just gets impatient when it takes to long. They definitely don't come willingly though.

I had her when she was 13 weeks old and everytime I gave her a brush, I'd give her treat. It seems to have worked. She's now teaching my 12 yr old cat that if you act cute and give "kisses" you get sweeties!
