First off, it feels great to be back! Yikes it feels like it has been years. haha. In the last month we have gone through 4 computers! My HP laptop, which is under warranty quit on me, and HP would do nothing for me as I lost my receipt and the store either wouldn't look for it, or simply couldn't care less. Either way they said there was no way they could find a store copy of the receipt (Which kind of goes against tax laws, but whatever). So I sold it without a hard drive for $300 and turned to my ole faithful desktop... about a week into using it, it quit on me... then I went back to my old 10 pound Compaq laptop and fooled around to finally get it online with a wireless USB adaptor... and the USB adaptor got bent... and honestly... what good is a computer that can not get online? So after that I took some good parts from a few different, but broken computers and came out with something I figured would work, installed XP onto it and could not get it to connect to the internet for the life of me, so I gave up and went out and bought a new desktop today... another PC sadly, and am going to buy an iMac in a few weeks and keep the PC as a backup and for downloading movies and the like.

Anyways, curious on you opinions and preferences.... Mac or PC? Which do you prefer?

:welcome: to AC! :lipssealedsmilie:

I've always run PCs, but I must admit to getting more and more curious about Macs. It's tough to change though because I'm so familiar with MS.

Ummm, I'm just sayin...WELCOME BACK!!!!!!!!!!!

Get both...much more fun in a group...:grinyes:

Heh... sounds like my experience with HPs. I'll probably go MAC during my next iteration. You can download freeoffice or use the google version on-line... eliminating the need for M$ office.

Glad to see you back.
