So what are you jammin' to?

I've seen Pink Floyd live twice. What I didn't realize until I actually saw them is how much of an impact the 3 black chorus girls have on the music. One minute they have a gospel sound, the next it sounds kind of haunting. All the main members of the band are incredibly talented but the two sax players (depending on who is with them at the time) are also unbelieveable.

Absolutely!!! Let me tell you that I'm totally jelous of you!! I wanted to go see them in '95, but tickets were sold out. 3 shows, at 65000+ each show!!! I couldn't even find any scalpers!!.

That's another thing I like about Floyd. They know what sound they have and want, and they'd never settle for anything less. example: For the song Sorrow, to get that natural reverb sound, they rented out a stadium and played in it, while the place was empty, to get that "original and natural" reverb out of it. And you're right about the girls, and their sax players.

I just hope they'll do one last tour.. just one!!! lol...

Yeah, how about a tour with Gilmour, Waters, and Barrett.

I could stop going to see live music for the rest of my life if I could just see that line up.

lol... I think that chances of that happening would be the same as mwaking up to the sight of pigs flying... And all these pigs would have ankle bracelets on... made of beads.. and they'd all be singing.. ;)

I always kinda felt bad for barrett.. poor guy man. I just hope he's happy now, doing whatever it is he's doing...

you gotta try it without the words.... the music is absolutely genious!
What software does that?

Nero ?

I'd like to remove lyrics from tunes.. I think that some music would sound better without the singing.

Defending my title as "King of the Obscure"

And now for something completely different. I just received these from CDBaby.com last night. Haven't heard them all yet:

HANIF NOORMOHAMED: Evolution

TRAVIS STEELE NEVELS: Freestyle Guitar II

PRASANT RADHAKRISHNAN: Swara Sudha

NICK STOUBIS: Mosaic: The Music of Greece

ADRIAN GALYSH: King Friday

THE GRIFF HAMLIN BAND: The Griff Hamlin Band

ROD MOBASHER: Guitarra Con Amor

And still listening to the latest EP from my favorite blues/rock band Indigenous.

I think that with these latest additions we've filled our 300 capacity cd player. We've got a bit of everything from ABBA to ZZ Top.
