So what would you stock a 40 gallon corner tank with?

I love giant danios, they have a great personaility, very active, they tend to stay near the top

Get some more Angelfish, they look very nice and they would get along great with the swordtail's.
Look around though to fine good ones, some at LFS are very small and don't look that good.
A lot of people bread them so you might be able to get some very nice ones from them.
Look here, they are beautiful

well the reason I only want one is cause you need to keep an odd number so if they pair up I cant do anythign with the odd one out

what about cherry shrimp? is that something the angels or swordtails would pick on?

I have 9 african Convicts. I would like to find good homes for about 6 of them. and just keep 3 large male, what would you keep with them?

If you wanted a gourami tank:

Small gourami tank:

2 dwarf gouramis
2 honey gouramis
2 sparkling gouramis

Medium gourami tank:

2 gold gouramis
2 pearl gouramis

My honey, dwarf(s), sparkling, and pearl get/got along with my amano shrimps from the time they were 1/2 inches long.

Schooling tank:

6 dwarf rainbows
10 neon tetras
10 blackskirt (or others of similar size) tetras
8 pygmy corys

Schooling tank #2:

8 tiger barbs
8 serpaes
8 pygmy corys

You could add your swordtails and maybe some small livebearers to the lists above.

If you wanted an angel, no neons, MAYBE no pygmy gouramis, and maybe no tiger barbs or serpaes (nippyness?)

Or you could just have a pair of angels (I mean a PAIR pair) and a pair of discus :D.

j/k

Oh well. I guess theyre not for everyone.

Theyre my favourite fish, and I especially like the giant gouramis... those things are like swimming dogs ;)

how big to angelfish get? Im gonna order some stuff and im gonna order a few different nets and how big of one should I get?

Well, I would go for the nets with the longer handles since corner tanks are so deep (at least the ones I've seen, I am not familiar with the one you have). I'd probably get the 8 inch net/22 inch handle, and the 6 inch net/17 inch handle.

As for angelfish size, they can get about 6 inches long, and they are really tall too. Mine is about 5 inches long and 5 inches tall. The fins make up most of the length and height.
