2 days. so far so good. Thanks for the input. ....My pleco is avoiding the ornament though....he use to live in it. Maybe he's smarter than I am.

i have used buckets that i have washed the car and put soap in, and my fish are still fine.

Just rince them with water.

He probably just found a new home while that one was "in the shop". That or he's apprehentious about this new and wonderful thing that just dropped into his little world.
