Socolofi?

So, I have Albino Socolofi's....I know how cichlids are famous for cross breeding, if I added regular Socolofi's would they end up cross breeding? If I have them in "groups" will they most likely stick to their own or would I just end up with a big ol' Albino/regular love triangle???

"albino" isn't a separate species so there is no "cross" breeding involved. There are albino humans after all and they would not take it well if you expressed the notion that they were not fully human I would imagine.

If you want to breed specifically for the albino trait though you should keep those fish apart from the others. Same as other selective breeding for a particular characteristic, like redder red cherry shrimp or whatever.

OMG, you made me LOL!!

Didn't think of it that way, so yeah I suppose they are the "same". Right now, I really am not "breeding" them just although in the future (a few months or so down the road) I am considering breeding a couple different species my albino's being one of them. So...I'm not sure if I want to do it or not.

I'm just restocking my tank, and really like the blue ones also, but I don't want to give up my albino's for them.
