Solo molly in community tank?

if you are going to get more mollies, get at least 3 females before you get any more males.

a 16 gallon is to small for mollies anyway. 20 gallons is a minimum.

Yesterday I made the momentous decision to step back, enjoy the fish I have!
There is plenty of time to get other fish in the future (and tanks to suit). As it is, the tank is active and fun to watch. The guppies have established themselves as top dogs in the tank so the danios don't hassle them. I will add a couple more danios so they can get their schooling happening (hopefully this doesn't upset the current pecking order).
Then I intend to watch my guppies live out their short (but healthy) lives in a tank that isn't overstocked.

I have fry that are half guppy and half something else. I know this because my guppies are the only males in the tank, and I'm on my second set of fry. None survived the first time, but I rescued 5 this time. Hope I can tell if they're Muppies or Pluppies (Platy/Guppy) when they grow up.
