No they're white cloud minnows (they prefer cooler water so are perfect for goldfish tanks). I lost a few of mine when they were first introduced to gobbling goldies, but now they're too big and fast to be bothered with
No he can't, it's only this past few months his head has gone through a huge and fast growth spurt.. must have been all that broccoli I fed them. But there's nothing sharp in the tank so he bulldozes his way harmlessly to the food
