With regard to the "blue balance" when you use and actinic with a MH light, the MH may be more white to yellow depending on the Kelvin rating of the bulb. Typically a 10000k MH bulb is almost white and the actinic will add blue into the light spectrum to balance it out. Hope that helps.

Sorry, I accidently made a math error in the demensions of my tank. Im going for a: 20.2 x 20.2 x 32.32(height) acrylic, approx. 55 gallon.
