Some food better than others?

I was in the store today looking around at different fish foods. There are tons for tropical fish. I was wondering if some would be better than others. Like for example there is this one:

Which says it's for marine or tropical fish.

The description says:

"High in carotenoids and enhanced with brine shrimp, this food is designed to help the development of vibrant colors in marine fish. Can be fed as a supplement to TetraMarine Flakes and granules, and is also an excellent treat for many marine and freshwater tropical fish"

Wouldn't my little guppy like brine shrimp too? Which is better?
 
That food is more geared toward saltwater/marine fish, though I'm sure it would be fine as a treat for freshwater fish. If you're looking for a good freshwater 'staple' flake food, I'd go with TetraMin Pro, Blue Ribbon AquaSelect, or Newlife Spectrum.

New Life Spectrum

I like New Life Spectrum more than anything else I've ever used. First ingrediant is krill. It comes in different sizes for large or small fish. Don't let the price fool you, it is very dense and you will feed a lot less of this than any other pellet or flake, and it does not swell up when wet, so no bloating.
