I love my Briggs, all like 1000 of them and I am even having some success hatching cluthches of all dark purple, dark bodies with orange spots, but I am thinking of getting something new. Anyone have any suggestions on non-hermaphroditic snails whos eggs are easily removed if not wanted?

asolene spixi (zebra apple snail, lay clutches under the water line, breed prolifically, can eat some plants, leave the majority alone, restricted to ship):

olive nerite (stay small less than dime sized, breed in bw, lay sesame seed sized eggs in fw), can live in sw,bw, or fw:

Spixis are indeed restricted to ship across state lines now, but that really doesn't seem to stop anyone.

If you don't like the Olive Nerites, there are a few other Nerites you could try.
