alright i've searched a little for this and havent found much..
i was jsut wondering a few things...

1) what should i look for on good live rock? besides algie and what should i look out for and stear clear from?

2) i got a few peices and one of the peices has these round egg like green pill shaped things. are these going to hatch what's going to be inside them if they are eggs but generaly what are they and should i take that peice out?

the photo attached has arrows pointing to the groups of them...
the first arrow points to a small group of the green ones they are auctualy a little below and to the right of the arrow...
the second arrow points to possably a hatched one (looks kinda like sheaded skin)...
the third arrow points to a few more green ones

thanks,

lol, that live rock doesnt look too cured. if its cured, then its ok, you can see my post of my pics of my tank, and it has these little bubble things on top of my rock. i dont think its that big of a prob. if it smells REALLY bad then its not cured

I can't tell anything from your pic but it sounds like you are describing bubble algae. Do a search and see if that is what you have. p.s. you don't want it if that is what it is.

Nooberpie: I just looked at your pics. In the 3rd pic way in the bottom right corner you have bubble algae. Emerald crabs will eat them or you can manually remove them. Don't pop them in the tank however. The spores will go all over and you will have a mess.
