you guys id'd my ricordia coral so fast i was hoping you could help some more..... the first couple shots are of a "thing" i really have no idea what it could be. they are starting to grow all over my live rock, but these two are the biggest. they start out as a translucent orange when small, and turn brownish when big. they are roundish with a couple of "openings" which have like bristles around them, which contract closed when plankton etc goes near it. they move and pulse so they are alive what ever they are. the last two shots are of a little hitchicker colony of polyps, im thinkin zoos but could be wrong. they are purple and green. sorry my camera doesnt show the colors very well, and sometimes blurry, even on macro. then again, maybe its the operator lol. thanks guys!!!! :duh:

I was asleep :D

It's really hard to say. If they have two openings and respond by contracting, I would guess they are tunicates. Does your camera have a macro setting on it that allows it to focus really close up? A clearer closeup would help.

thats exactly what it is!! D@&*$ your good!! thanx man!! heres a clear picture of what they look like..... next question is,..what are they and what do they do??
