I love darters. They're such funny fish! I hope to eventually have a native tank or two instead of a native or two. Nice collection.

Nice Natives , I have a tendency to keep natives now and then. My last natives were Myan Chiclids and I heard that most were killed from the recent cold weather we had down here in Fl.
No, I have not made any attempts at breeding them. I'm pretty new to the aquarium scene, just over a year now so I'm happy just keeping them alive at this point. I do have some plans for the future though....
Darters are really funny to watch. I love how the can turn their heads. They don't look like much in pictures but in the aquarium they provide lots of amusement. I love how they scoot around, pop up out of caves, and climb on rocks. Their kinda like little lizards. I'm very surprised they aren't more popular in America, especially the more colorful ones like rainbows and redlines.
