Dixienut, here are some pics of my little Senegal Bichir you wanted to see. Of all the poly species I think they're the "cute" ones. I didn't realize how hard this little guy is to get pics of. He freaks out as soon as the red laser on my camera turns on. The only way I could keep him still was to throw in some thawed shrimp to much on.

For Ricky, some pics of my new Red Hi-fin Wolf Fish. Hard to get shots of this guy as well since it's always hiding in the willow hygro.

And I thought I'd throw in a few pics of my Anostomus ternetzi just because. :D

i am so glad you are out of your "i won' t take pics of my fish phase!" I really enjoy seeing them! Great collection you have!

Aw, I love bichirs. So cute how they prop themselves up on their front fins while being all chillaxed at the same time.

wow he's cute,.. wish he was marked like the the others,.. i went to my petsmart,.. and they didn't have any ,well had a tiny one but it was doa,...

called another one and they were out also,..
will a regular glass lid with the plastic back piece keep them in? or does it need to be weighted? as they all say they escape,.. but all the info on weather loaches said the same i never had mine get out,.. one got into my ac110lol swam right up the outflow stream,..lol

I know Rach. It's just that I'm an artist so to speak so if I'm not happy with the results of something I don't like to post it up. I still think my camera takes crappy fish photos, lol. I guess I just don't care anymore.

the issue with polys and escaping is they are air breathers, they tend to head for openings. I would always recommend a well fitting lid on their tank. I am considerign bringing some in soon, probably not sens though. They are super rewarding fish to keep.
