HELP
I have a 75 gal aquarium all tank parameters are fine and the maintanence is up to date. Community is mainly malawali cichlids the tank has been up for about quite some time now and everyone seems well adjusted to the new enviroment. The problem is this. exactly ten days ago, I noticed that one of my cobalt zebras was refusing food. It would approach it but not eat. It is smaller than the other, has one very small egg spot, and is slightly darker in color than the other one as well. Every one else in the tank seems fine and always hungry. I have, since yesterday moved the anorexic fish to a different tank.
now the questions i have are this:
1. Do I have a female that has bred?
2. Is this typical brooding behavior? I haven't seen any eggs it barely ever opens its mouth. Its "jowls" havent incresed in size any so if eggs are growing in there where are they going?
3. How long is gestation?
thanks
