:sad I have a 20 gallon long with 2 angels, 2 angel cats, 1 pleco, 1red paradise fish, 2 parrot fish,1 chinese algea eater. All was good this morning, not even a hour later one of the angel was dead with his head half gone. I have not seen any aggression from any of the tankmates. Can some one please help me find the murderer of my poor angel.

it's extremely possible that he wasn't murdered, and he died due to some other causes, such as poor water conditions, disease, etc. After he died, the other fish may have started picking at him, explaining the missing chunk of his head

That may be but my nitrite and ammona levels are both at 0. Could they do that much damage to him in less than a hour.

i've had neons completely disappear in that amount of time.

Angels are sensitive to water quality. It probably died and the other fish began eating the body. When a fish dies in my aquarium, it's body lasts a couple of hours before it is a skeleton. Your parrot fish and the paradise fish will get aggressive. Paradise fish are usually kept alone due to their aggression. You have WAY too many fish. Two angels will do ok in a 20 gallon but really need a 29 gallon to be happy. They get 6" long. Parrot cichlids get huge! And the paradise fish is at least 5". You need to divide them up into seperate tanks, get a 55 gallon of larger, or give some back to the pet store. I'd just do away with the parrot fish and maybe plan on getting a larger tank soon. If you have a 20 gallon long, a 29 gallon will fit on the stand. So will some tall 35 gallons.

I am moving to a 29 tomorrow. I will talk to my lfs to see if they will take some back, i wish I could get a much bigger tank but I just do not have the room.
