Okay well i thought it would disappear with water changes or even by the filtration, but my water clearly has something in it. But you can only see it if your face is right up on the aquarium, from a distance you couldnt tell anything. Its hard to describe but imagine if you could have dusty water (if thats at all possible). It just looks like millions of tiny things floating in the water. I change water weekly but im thinking it could possibly be from my tap water cause theres always stuff floating in the tap but will this hurt my fish at all?

All water test's come up normal.

what kind of substate are you using? if you're using a fine sand substrate it could just be dust from the sand.

just checked out ur site and i see taht ur using black onyx... if this is the tank in question i have to ask... how long has this tank been set up and did u rinse the sand to get rid of any dust before you put it in the tank?

The tank has been set up for a month or two. And yes i washed the sand out for a long time before placing it in my tank, I made sure no dust was left in the sand.

Filtration? I had the same thing in my tank. It was driving me crazy untill I added polyester floss in a filter bag to my eclipse. I change it about every other week. It's amazing how much tiny gunk that stuff catches. It worked great. I also see this in my 20 long, but they turned out to be tiny bubbles.

just dont put your face too close to the glass and all will be fine....
