Was fine earlier this evening, found him looking like this later tonight. Little blurry, longest I could get him to stay still.

Only thing i have done tonight that may have affected anything is add some 2 part calcium solution, but i've been doing this for a few days with no prior ill effects.

Any idea what this is? Should I attempt to quarantine him? If I can catch him...

It would help to know a few things about your tank.

Size
filter system
age
water perameters
Ph
Ammonia
Nitrite
Nitrate
Salinity
temp
Do you quarantine

Thanks.

Sorry, that was the best picture I could manage, the guy really never stops moving.

As of this morning, his color is back, looks normal as ever. Not sure what was going on there.

Tank is a 75g Oceanic
85lbs Live Rock
15g sump
2 month old tank
ph is 8.2, SG is 1.0125, Calcium has been a little low but its back upto 400+ now (not retesting it till this evening). 0 Phosphates/nitrites/nitrates/ammonia
Temp is between 76-79
Just setup a quarantine tank last week, this was the first fish i bought and did not have the quarantine tank at the time.
Been feeding them a combination of high quality pellets, some flake food, and recently frozen misus.

I'm almost thinking he just changed his color a little bit in response to something.

Did you notice the color change while the lights are off? Many of my fish will change color at night. My neon goby goes from a bright blue and dark black to a grayish foggy color at night. He returns to normal in the morning.

Ya he is. Now that he's looking better I'll get another picture so you can see how nice he is.

He is a great damsel, those blue spots on him really do show up as neon as they look in the picture, and he's well tempered for a Damsel. He bullied my young percula's for a few minutes when I put them in the tank, but that was it, no problems since, or with any of the other fish.

He turned that wierd powdery white color on the lower half of his body for the evening (lights were on) but looked fine this morning. He has not changed color that drastically at any point since I have had him.
